Easy Telemarketing
How you do you feel about telemarketing?
How do you handle the call? Do you realize that hanging up on them only causes them to want to call you back again? Is it hard to be polite to someone that is just doing their job?

- Join up with the "no-call" law and do not worry about it.
- be nice - if they had another employment option, they'd jump at it, I'm sure. Self loathing can't be much fun. Just say sorry and hang up. Then do as suggested above and get on the "do not call" list. Happy Holidays (to telemarketers, too!)
- I politely tell them I'm not interested... the first time. I ask for a supervisor... the second time. I put my 3-year old grandson on the phone....the third time. There is no fourth time. :)
- I tell them that I appreciate them calling but at this time we are not interested. I always tell them to have a nice day/evening.
