What legal ramifications do I have against a telemarketing company who continually harrasses me?
I have called this company multiple times and asked them politely to stop calling. They arent even calling for anyone in my home. They call at all hours of the day. What can I do?

- I generally get near my computer when they call and record the conversation I have with them. I inform them that I am recording it and have them repeat the part about them understanding that I do not want any more calls from their company. I have them taped saying they understand that I do not want any future calls and that they understand that I will utilize the existing laws against telephone harrassment against them if I receive any more calls. I have done this twice and never had a problem after the recording. Then, if they do call back, I would use that material and the existing laws to receive whatever compensation/damages I could prove under the law.
- A legit tele-marketer will NEVER break the DNC rules. Not if they want to stay in business. The correct way to deal with T/M is listed in one of the answers here. ez way to do it is actually say the following words"take me off your call list"
