Is there any way to block auto dialer calls? Telemarketers start calling my house at 8am 7 days a week.Half the time when I pick up no one is there. I dont owe anyone anything so I know its not bill collectors. I dont want to leave the phone off the hook anymore because there might be an emergency with my grandfather. There is an easy way for American Idol to take back the shows integrity. When a person calls the Idols individual number there should be a second verification. A voice, just like the one you hear normally, should say "To confirm your vote press (random #)" Where the random # is generated on the fly. So each time you vote the number to verify is different and the "Dialers" in conjunction with the bad websites cease to be of use. How can I fight back at telemarketers in Canada? I've been called a total of 4 times now in the last two weeks, it's an auto-dialer that rattles on about how a family member has put my number into a draw for a "free" get-away to mexico or the caribian (then in the next sentence they say it's 300$ per person). I know no one in my family is stupid enough to do that, so I hit "1" to talk to a real person. I need a anti dialer program? it's a program for stopping my modem to auto dial up some numbers. I heard that's making phone bills enormous

internet sharing in bridge mode :----hi guys , i have got a technical problem in here..? i have got 2 desktop pcs at home , each having a lan card , and i have one UT304R2 router which has 4 RJ-45 ports at its back... the problem is that when i plug in the wires from each of the LAN cards to the router in PPPOE/PPPOA mode then i get internet connectivity on both my pcs SIMULTANEOUSLY ... BUT when i try to do the same in BRIDGE MODE then :-when one of the PCs has been connected to the net , the other one cant and keeps fixed on the message "connecting WAN miniport PPPOE" in the dialer window.... am i supposed to make some changes in the settings ??? in order to enjoy simultaneous net on both my PCs when in BRIDGE MODE ???? (i am laying stress on bridge mode as i use a AUTO SHUTDOWN (set before 8am eveyday), so the net automatically disconnects when the PC shuts down but If i am on PPPOE mode the net wont disconnect unless and until the router gets rebooted before 8am(which isnt possible as i am deeply in sleep at tht time ! )
